All reservations with VILLA are subject to the following Terms and Conditions
General conditions
The traveler acknowledges and accepts that his/her general health condition allows him/her to carry out the tour in a safe manner for him/herself and without jeopardizing the safety and enjoyment of the other people participating in the trip or those who belong to VILLA’s staff.
The traveler acknowledges and accepts that the reimbursement of the cost of the Tour will be considered sufficient compensation in the event of non-compliance on the part of VILLA, and that, therefore, VILLA will not be responsible in any case for additional expenses or costs incurred by the client.
The traveler acknowledges and accepts that it is his/her responsibility to have all the documents required to carry out the Tour, such as valid passport, visas, travel permits, vaccination certificates, among others. Any information related to travel documentation provided by VILLA will be for reference only.
The traveler acknowledges and accepts that it is his/her responsibility to show up with his/her equipment for the Tour at the place, date and time indicated in the itinerary.
The traveler acknowledges and accepts that it is his/her obligation to comply with all local laws, as well as to respect local customs, and to follow the instructions of VILLA’s staff, and that failure to comply with this obligation may result in his/her expulsion from the Tour without the right to any compensation from VILLA.
In the event that, prior to the beginning of the Tour, the traveler does not state otherwise in writing, the traveler acknowledges and accepts that VILLA may use in any media all audiovisual material (photos, videos or audios) captured during the tour by any person, including him/herself, without the right to any economic compensation whatsoever.
Tour Reservation
To book a tour you must first complete the form by clicking here, when you send it you will be redirected to the payment site to make the first deposit, which ensures your place on the trip. Our team will contact you for the 2nd and 3rd payment, as specified in the Tour Brochure. By booking you acknowledge that you know and accept the Terms and Conditions.
The reservation and payment will be confirmed via email, to the email registered in the form. The message will specify the amount paid, the balance due and the deadline for the second and third payment.
If the reservation is made after the deadline indicated by VILLA, 100% of the value of the trip must be paid at the time of booking (subject to availability).
Final Payment
Final payment must be made at least 30 days prior to the start date of the trip, unless the Brochure specifies a different deadline.
Cancellation and refund policies
In case of cancellations by the traveler, the following policies will apply:
- First payment: No refund will be issued for this payment.
- Second payment:
- Cancellations submitted before October 5 – 23:59 (Bogotá time): 50 % of the second payment will be refunded.
- Cancellation submitted after October 5 – 23:59 (Bogotá time): No refund will be provided.
- Third payment:
- Cancellations submitted before October 5 – 23:59 (Bogotá time): 50 % of the third payment will be refunded.
- Cancellation submitted after October 5 – 23:59 (Bogotá time): No refund will be provided.
In case of cancellations caused by legal limitations on tourist activities in the context of a health emergency, 100% of the total amount paid by the traveler will be converted into a credit in favor of the traveler, which may be redeemed in another tour offered by VILLA within 24 months following the cancellation date.
In case of cancellations by VILLA RIDE TO UNWIND, 100% of the total amount paid by the traveler will be refunded.
Refunds will be made within 30 calendar days from the date of notification of cancellation.
In case of cancellations, VILLA will not be responsible for any expenses or additional expenses related to the trip incurred by the client.
Medical and Travel Insurance
It is the responsibility of each traveler to take out insurance to cover, among others, accidents, injuries, evacuation, repatriation, medical costs, loss of luggage, delays, and cancellations. VILLA RIDE TO UNWIND will not be responsible in any case for personal injury, death, property damage or loss.
Force Majeure
In the event of “Force Majeure”, any delay in the performance, or non-performance, of VILLA’s obligations shall not be considered a breach of the agreement by VILLA. According to Colombian law, “Force Majeure” are those events that are external, unforeseeable and irresistible, such as an earthquake. In the presence of “Force Majeure” events, VILLA will have the absolute discretion to modify or stop the tour.
